Welcome to the website of the Dean Kelly N.S

The Dean Kelly N.S is a senior boys school in the town of Athlone catering for boys from 2nd class to 6th class. The school follows a Catholic Ethos while also embracing and welcoming pupils from many different cultures and backgrounds. The school takes pride in having core values of inclusiveness, equality and respect for all in our school community.

We currently have 107 pupils and this allows for small class sizes with average of 21 pupils per class.

Supervised early drop off from 8.40am until 9.00am
breakfast club daily from 8.40am until 9.00am (Choice of healthy breakfast options with hot option each Friday)
Free healthy lunch delivered fresh daily.
Affordable Book rental scheme for all pupils.
Extra support in English and Maths. (2 teachers assigned to each class for literacy and Maths daily)
On site fully equipped library.
Indoor sports hall
On site -After school club ( 2.40pm-5.30pm) with hot snack provided

Free Music Generation classes weekly for all classes.
